Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

PV TROOPS is a Gospel driven discipleship program and ministry of Prairie View Baptist Church for children in grades K-6. It is the desire of every volunteer that gives of their time and talents to share God's great love for children with every child that attends. Each week, the students ride church vans from Merritt School, or they can be dropped off by parents. We begin our time together with a delicious snack and then students are divided into grade level classes.  Next, we begin rotations through Bible Study, Bible Drill and Scripture Memory, and Recreation.  Finally, we end our time together in Worship through music all together in the Worship Center!  We use a system of PV Points to encourage kids to bring their Bibles, memorize the Scripture of the Month, wear a PV Kids T-shirt that we will gift them with, and to behave in a way that shows respect and kindness to adult leaders and their peers. Students will earn points weekly and will have the opportunity to redeem their points at the Troop Store on occasion. 

Please complete ONE registration form for all students that will be attending PV TROOPS for the 2025-2026 school year in your household. We have included student information responses for up to six kids. Please make sure that you complete dismissal information and permission to transport questions that follow the student information. We are so excited to have your child/children join us!
